HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONAL POSITION OF TRANSLATORS AND INTERPRETERS (JFP):

2014:

The issuance of Regulation of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 49 of 2014 on Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters.

2016:

1. The issuance of Regulation of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 1 of 2016 on the Amendment to the Regulation of Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Number 49 of 2014 on Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters;
2. The issuance of Regulation of Cabinet Secretary Number 8 of 2016 on Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of the Fostering of Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters;
3. The issuance of Regulation of Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Number 21 of 2016 on Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of the Fostering of Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters.

2020 :

1. The issuance of Regulation of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 55 of 2020 on Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia which stipulates that Cabinet Secretariat performs the function of fostering Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters;
2. The issuance of Regulation of Cabinet Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2020 on Organization and Work Procedure of Cabinet Secretariat which stipulates that Center for Government Translators and Interpreters Development of Cabinet Secretariat has the duties of managing, fostering, developing, and providing administrative support for Government Functional Position of Translators and Interpreters;
3. On 25 September 2020, the Center for Government Translators and Interpreters Development was established with the inauguration of the Head of Center for Government Translators and Interpreters Development and the ranks.
